Job Description

We're seeking a Field Project Coordinator (Technical Sales) to join our team, working from our Dubai office, connecting our customers in the Middle East with ETC products. The role will not only require excellent communication and customer service skills, but also a technical knowledge and familiarity of ETC products as well as experience in entertainment lighting.If you have the required experience and knowledge for this role and love to travel, this may be the position for you!Representative Responsibilities:Supports Regional Manager, with ETC dealers within the territory.Visits project sites, end users, and dealersSupports dealers and end users with equipment demonstrationsWorks with ETC Professional Services to define project requirements and design lighting systems for customersCoordinates sales calls & follows up on sales leadsConducts training seminars & demonstrates equipmentAssembles system layouts for theatrical and architectural lighting systemsLayout lighting control systems with specifications and risersAdministers loan & demo equipment for the territoryDevelops and maintains strong relationships with consultants, end users & dealersManages and provides budget information for projectsParticipates in trade shows, sales training seminars and other informational sales eventsAttends trade shows, including assisting with build & strike as requiredCreates and leads training classes, including the training of customers on equipmentEmployee TravelThis position is a field position requiring in excess of 50% travelThis position requires occasional work in the evenings and weekendsPerforms other duties as assignedCompletes special projects and assignments in a positive and timely mannerMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre or Production, or comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline3-5 years in Theatrical, Studio, Event or Music touring lighting experienceExperience with theatrical, architectural, studio, event or music touring lightingFamiliarity with Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of AutoCAD & other photometric softwareAbility to communicate effectively with customers, lighting designers, sales representatives, consultants, electrical contractors, and distributorsAbility to design theatrical lighting for dramas, broadcast and live eventsKnowledge of ETC product line and equivalent competitor productsSelf‑motivated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAble to provide timely, thorough and accurate customer serviceStrong background in theatrical, studio, event or music touring lighting , including basic understanding of theatrical lighting systems layout and wiring, etc.Excellent presentation, and communications skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong interpersonal skills - able to deal with difficult personalities in high‑stress situationsUnderstanding of contractual and commercial processesComputer networking knowledge beneficial#J-18808-Ljbffr
