Finance and Accounting Manager

Position OverviewThe Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and team supervision in a fully remote environment. This role will play a critical part in supporting Sentient's financial infrastructure as we scale our foundation and ecosystem initiatives.ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise daily accounting operations across the organizationPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS standardsCoordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and complianceEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, including crypto and foundation-specific accounting considerationsProvide accounting support to internal stakeholders across business development, operations, and ecosystem teamsFacilitate cross-departmental financial collaboration in a remote-first environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in accounting, with supervisory responsibilityStrong knowledge of IFRS standards and modern accounting softwareAbility to deliver high-quality results within tight timeframesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFluency in English (written and verbal)Nice to HaveAudit background (Big 4 or equivalent experience preferred)Experience with crypto/Web3 accounting, including token economics and foundation structuresCPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certificationWhat We OfferFully remote position with flexible working hoursOpportunity to be part of a pioneering team at the intersection of AI and Web3Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on open-source AI development#J-18808-Ljbffr
