Gait Lab Engineer / Therapist - Motion Analysis lab

A leading government healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Gait Lab Engineer / Therapist (Motion Analysis Lab) to join and support a state-of-the-art motion analysis service.The role focuses on advanced clinical gait assessment using 3D motion capture technology working closely with an interdisciplinary clinical team to develop evidence-based treatment plans for patients across the emirate.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive gait assessments and analyze biomechanical data for patients referred with gait disorders including:Cerebral palsySpina bifidaNeuromuscular disordersOrthopaedic conditionsTrauma-related gait abnormalitiesPerform advanced therapy evaluations using 3D Motion Capture systems and related technologies.Carry out complex technical procedures including:Detailed history takingPhysical examinationAccurate placement of surface markersDemonstrate excellent understanding of anatomy kinematics bony anatomy and joint motion.Identify and manage sources of error in gait analysis through strong biomechanical knowledge.Develop expertise in biomechanical data analysis and reporting software.Produce high-quality comprehensive gait analysis reports with clear clinical recommendations.Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, physicians and surgeons to review findings and guide treatment planning.Conduct and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss results interpretations and recommendations.Manage clinical risk within own caseload and ensure patient safety at all times.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scope of practice documentation standards and compliant clinical practices including coding and billing where applicable.Engage in continuous professional development, ongoing education and potential research activities to support service advancement.RequirementsBSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy or an Engineering/physics/science-based degree.Evidence of post-graduate training and development in gait analysis.Licensed in the UAE or Eligible for license.Motion lab/gait lab experience preferred.Other RequisitesBackground as a Gait Lab Engineer Motion Analysis Therapist or Lab Specialist.Strong expertise in biomechanics anatomy and kinematic analysis.Experience working with 3D gait analysis and motion capture systems.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.Strong analytical reporting and communication skills.WORK LOCATION - ABU DHABI.#J-18808-Ljbffr
