GEN. CIVIL FOREMAN

Primary Purpose of the JobAssist Civil Engineers in development, implementation, administration, supervision and close out of all capital, Supervise civil maintenance and project work for capital, non-routine and routine maintenance contracts within the Mesaieed Operation jurisdiction. Assist Civil Engineers in preparing of daily progress reports and records, developing a working schedule/programme, reviewing and approving shop drawings, verifying quantities, issuing work permits and conducting routine inspections of ongoing projects as well as final hand over inspection of completed jobsPrepare/review contract work requests (CWR) for civil maintenance works. Participate in developing projects documentation, specifications, bill of quantities and drawings by conducting site surveys and routine inspections to ensure a safe operating plant.Carry out site surveys, measurements and quantity surveyingParticipate in troubleshooting, in providing technical evaluation of causes and remedial measures.Assist Civil Engineers in review of project documentations implemented by Engineering & Projects Department.Coordinate contractors daily work assignments, sign and control work permits and arrange for special support services and coordinate work with other QatarEnergy departments.Monitor contractor work activities to ensure compliance with QatarEnergy safety, quality and environmental standards.Required Experience and SkillsMinimum of ten (10) years field experience in Civil, Construction and Maintenance Engineering. Five (5) years of which is in an industrial environment, with preference to petrochemical industry.Educational QualificationsDiploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.#J-18808-Ljbffr
