Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer creates visually engaging content that supports the organization’s marketing and communication efforts across print and digital platforms. The primary focus is graphic design, with additional responsibilities in video content production and social media content creation.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Graphic DesignConceptualize and develop creative design solutions that align with the organization’s brand identity and marketing initiatives.Design digital and print assets including flyers, forms, advertisements, brochures, and promotional materials.Create professional and visually cohesive presentation slides.Develop, maintain, and update design templates to ensure brand consistency across all materials.Ensure all designs meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.Video and Motion ContentProduce short-form video content for social media platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) including filming, editing, and post-production.Create motion graphics and animated assets for digital campaigns and presentations.Edit and repurpose video content for different platforms and formats.Social Media Content CreationDesign branded social media assets such as post graphics, stories, icons, highlights, and cover images.Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and storytelling strategies.Stay updated with social media design trends, formats, and best practices.Collaboration and Asset ManagementWork closely with the social media specialist and marketing team on content planning, creation, and campaign alignment.Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring accessibility and proper archiving for future use.Time ManagementMaintain project timelines, prioritize tasks, and provide regular progress updates to ensure quality delivery across all assignments.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, or a related field. A diploma or certification may be considered with relevant work experience.Minimum one year of working experience in graphic design, content creation, and social media.Must provide a portfolio demonstrating graphic design, social media content, and video/motion work.Software RequirementsRequired:Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Nice to Have:Canva, CapCut, Mojo, or similar content creation toolsFamiliarity with AI-assisted design and content creation toolsOther RequirementsStrong layout technique, typography, and a fresh take on various design styles.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to handle pressure, adapt to changes, and work concurrently on multiple tasks.Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube.Positive attitude, detail-oriented, customer-focused, with strong organizational ability.Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs quickly.#J-18808-Ljbffr
