GSE Quality inspector

Job Title: GSE Quality InspectorJob Purpose: Ensure maintenance and repair activities performed on Ground Support Equipment meet required quality standards, manufacturer specifications and operational safety requirements before equipment is released back into service.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect completed GSE maintenance and repair work to verify compliance with technical standards.Conduct functional testing of equipment after maintenance activities.Verify repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety requirements.Identify defects, non‑conformities or incomplete repairs and recommend corrective actions.Review job cards, maintenance documentation and inspection reports for accuracy.Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.Support investigations related to equipment failures or maintenance quality issues.Promote adherence to quality control procedures and safety standards.Provide feedback to maintenance teams to improve repair quality and reliability.Education & ExperienceDiploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years experience in GSE maintenance, heavy equipment maintenance or technical inspection.Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.Etihad Airport Services is now known as Velora L.L.C-S.P.CAbout Etihad Airport Services-GroundEtihad Airport Services Ground is the sole ground operations handler at Zayed International Airport.EASG handles a wide variety of ground functions at the capital’s international airport, from passenger check-in and boarding to baggage handling and aircraft services.All operations are centered around its three main prerogatives: safety and security in all its functions, world class operations for all customer airlines through maximum efficiency and a world class customer experience for all visiting and transiting guests.#J-18808-Ljbffr
