<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others. Act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the polyclinic by ensuring that enquiries from patients are efficiently and courteously handled in the best way to convey the polyclinic’s image and branding.</p><h3>Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone and answers their enquiries efficiently and courteously to ensure patient satisfaction.</li><li>Ensure that the reception area is always manned at all times, even during breaks, to avoid any health, safety and security issues as well as to remain available for patient enquiries.</li><li>Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information.</li><li>Book in, amend and cancel patient appointments in line with the polyclinic’s procedures, ensuring optimum efficiency of the appointment system.</li><li>Ensure that patients without appointments but who need urgent consultations are booked into appropriate slots and referred to the appropriate physician where necessary.</li><li>Receive and accurately record requests for home visits, assessing urgency in accordance with the Practice’s protocols. Print home visit summary sheets. (Home visits still not confirmed as discussed with Dr Hussam)</li><li>Advise patients of relevant charges for private or medical insurance services, accept payments and issue receipts for the service delivered. (For the medical insurance patients, the job holder follows the agreed registering process).</li><li>Check emails and fax machine regularly for incoming messages, and send emails or faxes as required.</li><li>Ensure the reception area is always kept clean and tidy and that all information leaflets are available for patients or the public if needed.</li><li>Receive and redirect calls ortake messages from patients or the public in a professional and polite way.</li></ul><p>The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager can assign other duties based on business needs.</p><h3>Work Environment</h3><ul><li>Indoors: 100%</li><li>Outdoors: 0%</li><li>Working Days: 6 working days</li><li>Days Off: 1 day off</li><li>Working Hours: 8 net working hours; shifts to ensure continuous attendance to reception (1 hour rota break)</li></ul><h3>Job Requirements</h3><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>High School Diploma; preferably university graduate</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>3 years in a similar position.</li></ul><h3>Computer Skills</h3><ul><li>Office</li></ul><h3>Languages</h3><ul><li>English and Arabic (fluent spoken and written)</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
