An ideal candidate should fulfil requirements listed under Qualification and Requirements.Job DescriptionTo lead manage and develop the provision of the Subject teaching and learning within the school and to ensure appropriate monitoring analysis and evaluation.To lead the departments strategic and operational development.To raise standards of pupil attainment and achievement within the whole curriculum area and to monitor and support pupil progress.To be accountable for pupil progress and development within the subject area. To develop and enhance the teaching practices of teachers.To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad balanced relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils.Providing opportunities of enrichment for gifted & talented and students with special needs.Experience in Strategic Planning & actively contribute towards SEF SIP.Experience teaching English in UK curriculum schoolConducting professional development trainings.Ensuring continued innovation in the teaching of English.To manage and deploy teaching/support staff and physical resources within the department effectively to support the department development plan.Qualifications and RequirementsM.A in English certificate should be attested from UAE.Excellent English communication skills.Minimum 1 year experience in similar role.Experience as English HOD is highly preferred.Understanding of KHDA school inspection framework.Good leadership skills.Candidates who can join immediately will be prefered.Required ExperienceDirector#J-18808-Ljbffr
