Head of Technical – Cyber Security (MSP)Location: Dubai Marina (Fully office-based)Salary: 35,000 – 50,000 AED per month (depending on experience)ABOUT THIS ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Head of Technical – Cyber Security to lead the technical delivery function of a growing Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP). This role is responsible for overseeing cyber security engineering, managed security operations, and the delivery of cyber security solutions across a diverse client base.You will lead a team of cyber security engineers responsible for security architecture, technology deployments, incident response support, and ongoing managed security services, ensuring the highest standards of technical delivery and client service.This role combines technical leadership, operational oversight, and hands‑on expertise, acting as the senior escalation point for complex security incidents and client implementations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical Leadership & Team ManagementLead and manage the cyber security technical team, providing mentorship, technical direction, and performance oversightBuild and develop the cyber security engineering capability as the organisation growsIdentify training and certification pathways for the team to maintain technical excellenceManaged Security Services OversightOversee day‑to‑day cyber security support operations including ticket management, incident handling, and SLA adherenceAct as the senior escalation point for security incidents, investigations, and critical client issuesEnsure effective delivery of managed security services including monitoring, detection, and responseSecurity Engineering & Solution DeploymentOversee the deployment, configuration, and integration of cyber security technologies across client environmentsProvide guidance on security architecture and best practice security controlsLead delivery of cyber security implementation projects aligned to client security roadmapsClient Delivery & AdvisoryWork closely with clients to translate security requirements into technical solutionsSupport advisory‑led engagements including security maturity assessments, risk remediation programmes, and compliance‑driven implementationsMaintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisorEnsure security implementations align with international frameworks and regulatory standards including ISO 27001, NIST, and regional data protection regulationsSupport delivery of GRC, data privacy, and security maturity initiativesIdentify emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry best practicesImprove internal processes, tooling, documentation, and service delivery standardsTechnical ScopeThe role will oversee delivery across the following cyber security domains:Security architecture and solution designDeployment and management of security technologies (SIEM, EDR, IAM, vulnerability management)Incident response and security operationsSecurity monitoring and managed detection and response servicesSecurity maturity and risk management programmesCompliance and regulatory‑aligned security implementationsWhat We’re Looking ForSignificant experience in cyber security engineering, architecture, or security operationsProven experience leading cyber security teams within an MSP, MSSP, consultancy, or enterprise environmentStrong experience delivering security technology deployments and cyber security transformation projectsExperience overseeing security operations, incident response, and support functionsStrong understanding of cyber security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS ControlsAbility to operate both strategically and hands‑on technicallyStrong client‑facing communication and stakeholder management skillsCertifications (Desired)Relevant industry certifications may include:CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security ProfessionalCISM – Certified Information Security ManagerCISA – Certified Information Systems AuditorISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead AuditorCCSP – Certified Cloud Security ProfessionalAdditional certifications in security technologies or cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Microsoft Security, SIEM technologies) would be advantageous.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary of 35,000 – 50,000 AED per monthSenior leadership role with ownership of cyber security technical deliveryOpportunity to scale and shape the cyber security engineering functionWork within a consultancy‑led managed security services organisationLong‑term career progression within a rapidly growing cyber security businessPerformance‑based bonus (linked to company KPIs)#J-18808-Ljbffr
