Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than50 countriesaround the world and employs about30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Purpose of the positionHealth Safety Environmental EngineerResponsibilitiesShe/He is responsible for but not limited to reporting to HSE Manager, the Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator is providing expertise support to PROJECT HSE Manager and is responsible for the coordination of all the environmental aspect on/offshore in the project:Acquire and understand the Project goals from Contractual documentation.Contribute to define the list of activities, list of deliverables and time schedule in accordance with Contract requirements related to environment and sustainability.Identify the environmental design requirements and procedures applicable to the Project and assure their implementation into the Project in line with EIA requirements.Assure the technical coordination of the environmental discipline.Assure the follow‑up activities to monitor the resolution of identified environmental issues in the course of the design development.Be the technical reference for Specialists and Designers for environment‑related matters and participate to the interdisciplinary activities.Attend internal review activities and inter‑discipline check meetings.Provide technical support to Project group.Ensure protection of the Sensitive areas.Ensure the development of spill contingency plan and monitor implementation.Ensure the development of Waste/Chemical/Water Management Plan, ensure relevant permits are obtained from authorities and monitor implementation.Ensure compliance with noise regulations requirements.Ensure and monitor protection of air quality within the project activities.Establish an environmental monitoring (onshore/offshore) and specially the alignment with the Qatar regulation and regulation for any discharge plan offshore.Develop and implement the audit program applicable to all phases of the operations.Take part in environmental accident/incident investigation.Ensuring the development of Offshore Spill contingency plan and monitor implementation.Liaise with COMPANY Environmental focal point for environmental monitoring (air, water & noise), waste inventory, spills, internal audits, Environmental training and reporting.Ensuring the development of Waste / Chemical / Water Management Plans, ensure the relevant permits are obtained from authorities and monitor implementation.Ensuring compliance with environmental requirements.Establish on site an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of the operations.What we’re looking forEducation:Safety Engineering BackgroundExperience:10 yearsLanguages:English is a mustIT Skills:Professional knowledge MS OfficeWhat can we offer youPermanent Contract – Project‑based positionCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits packageWorking Hours: 45/weeklyOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.Location: QatarAdditional InformationWe support your development!
