Housekeeping Manager

Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & ManagementSupervise train and motivate the housekeeping team to ensure efficiency and highquality service.Assign tasks and schedules to ensure all guest rooms public areas and backofhouse spaces are cleaned and maintained properly.Conduct performance evaluations provide coaching and implement training programs for continuous improvement.Operational ManagementEnsure daily housekeeping operations run smoothly including room turnovers laundry services and public area maintenance.Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies linen and guest amenities and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.Implement housekeeping procedures and standards in alignment with resort policies and fivestar hospitality expectations.Guest Satisfaction & Quality AssuranceMaintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and positive reviews.Handle guest requests complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently.Conduct regular inspections of rooms suites and public areas to ensure compliance with resort standards.Budget & Cost ControlDevelop and manage housekeeping budgets ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.Monitor labor costs and optimize staff scheduling based on occupancy levels.Identify costsaving opportunities while maintaining service excellence.Compliance & SafetyEnsure adherence to health safety and sanitation regulations including fire safety and chemical handling procedures.Implement ecofriendly and sustainable housekeeping practices in line with resort policies.Train staff on emergency procedures and workplace safety measures.QualificationsKnowledge Skills and Ability:Knowledge of hotel PMS System Microsoft Office computer applications office equipmentAbility to perform assigned duties with attention to detail speed and accuracyExcellent written and oral communication skillsMust possess outstanding guest service skillsMust be guestoriented enthusiastic with a vibrant personalityMust have hands on approachMust maintain composure at all times and work objectivity in stressful highpressure situationsAbility to approach all encounters with guests and employees in a professional mannerAbility to answer all general inquiries in the Hotel and F & B outletMust be a good listener and be able to follow instructionsMust be able to utilize all available resources to meet guest needsMust be a good team playerEducation Experience:Excellent English verbal and written communication skillsMinimum two years of relevant experience in a luxury hotel 5 diamond or 5 star standards) or comparable environmentDegree in Hospitality Management a plusPrior experience in Union Environment highly preferredAdditional InformationYour team and working environment:Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is a unique resort; where exclusivity and luxury define every experience every time.
