HSE OFFICER

Our Middle East and India presence is complemented by our operations across Asia Pacific Europe and the USA and our 2000 plus global staff.Responsibilities:We are currently looking for HSE Officer to be based in Abu Dhabi UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all Health Safety and Environmental aspects of the project to ensure compliance with relevant regulations best practices and company policies. This is a critical role that contributes to the successful and safe execution of the projectPerform site inspection of work areas laydown areas offices tools equipment and vehicles.Identify nonconformances and address them with the method appropriate with the severity of the nonconformance.Develop the Emergency Response Plan and implement it.Perform monthly HSE Self Audits.Produce the required internal reports and upload in the BlueSky (HSE DataManagement Portal ofAtkinsRealis)Produce the required HSE reports and submit for clients and stakeholders.Identify training needs for Subcontractor personnelConduct training and TBTs for all project personnelImplements the AtkinsRealis BlueBook GHSEMS.Establishes system and processes designed to ensure compliance to AtkinsRealis GHSEMS.Provides HSE documentation and support to AtkinsRealis managers and supervisors on site.Interfaces with client representatives to ensure that ongoing input to the HSE processes are incorporatedand that satisfaction with the results is achieved.Maintains current daily knowledge of all active areas records and reports as per HSE requirements.Ensures that Subcontractor attend HSE training and have competent resources.Assists the Construction / Operations Manager in followup of corrective actions.Leads site HSE inspections with managers.Conducts incident investigations and followups on corrective actions.Ensures communication with the Subcontractors HSE officers.Informs Construction / Project Manager of HSE issues to ensure compliance with contractual legal andother requirements.Leads Joint H&S Committee meetings.Participates in meetings in which HSE topics are discussed.Qualifications and Experience:Generally you will have a minimum 10 years of experience and with proven knowledge as an HSE Officer or similar role in large scale construction projectsBachelors Degree in Engineering Environmental Science Occupational Health or a related field.Professional certifications in HSE management (e.g. NEBOSH IGC IOSH OSHA) are mandatory and It ispreferred that candidates have professional HSE certification (CHMM CSP ARM etc.).Indepth knowledge of local HSE regulations international standards (ISO 45001 ISO 14001) and industrybest practices.Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse project teams contractors andstakeholders.Ability to implement and manage HSE management systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.Proficient in using HSE software tools and applications.Remote Work :NoEmployment Type :Fulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
