At The Red Palace, we invite guests to step into a world of history, prestige, and indulgence, where tradition and innovation seamlessly come together.JOB TITLEJOB TITLE: INCOME AUIDTERREPORTING TO: Chief AccountantTHE POSITIONThe role is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and recording all income and revenue-related postings through a detailed daily audit process. The position ensures accurate classification of revenue, validation of financial transactions, reconciliation of assigned accounts, and early identification of discrepancies. Through close coordination with night audit and accounting teams, the role supports the integrity of financial reporting and contributes to strong internal control standards.RESPONSBILTIESEnsure accurate classification of all revenue streams, including miscellaneous and accounts payable–related revenue.Review banquet checks against approved catering orders to confirm accuracy and completeness.Prepare and post month-end documentation for general ledger processing, including:Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and investigate variances.Comply with company work rules, internal policies, and standards of professional conduct.Maintain professional and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.Coordinate with the night audit team and review daily night audit reports for accuracy and completeness.Prepare and distribute the daily management review package.Provide support to other areas of the Accounting department as required.File and maintain financial documents and reports in an organized manner.Embrace and practice the company’s legacy values and competencies in all, team, and stakeholder interactions, acting as a role model for the desired culture and behaviors.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSEducationCollege education in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.ExperienceOne to two (1–2) years of experience in a related accounting or audit role within hospitality or a similar organization.Skills & AbilitiesWorking knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Understanding of revenue audit and daily audit procedures.Proficiency in operating standard office and accounting equipment, including:Computer systemsScanners, copiers, and calculatorsAbility to use accounting systems and basic financial software.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
