Information Technology Network Administrator

<div><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>The Network Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and availability of LAN, WAN, and VPN systems. The role involves leading a team of network engineers, managing network projects, maintaining security standards, and ensuring efficient network operations.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN/VPN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.</li><li>Monitor network performance, availability, and security using network monitoring tools.</li><li>Ensure maximum network uptime and performance optimization.</li><li>Develop and enforce network security policies, firewalls, IDS, and access controls.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network and system issues.</li><li>Lead and supervise network engineers and administrators, including performance management and mentoring.</li><li>Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.</li><li>Manage vendors, ISPs, and service providers, including SLAs and contracts.</li><li>Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and policies.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.</li><li>7–10 years of experience in network administration/engineering.</li><li>Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless, VPNs, and firewalls.</li><li>Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar.</li><li>Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) is a plus.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Good communication and vendor management skills.</li></ul><h3>Certifications</h3><ul><li>CCNA</li><li>CCNP</li><li>CompTIA Network+</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
