Interior Designer

<div><p>We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Interior Designer with furniture dealership experience to join our client’s remote team.</p><p>Ideal candidate will be highly skilled in CET Designer, Revit, and AutoCAD, with a strong preference for those familiar with ProjectSpec.</p><p>This role begins with a comprehensive 30‑day onboarding program focused on manufacturer specifications, government standards, and our internal workflows.</p><p>Candidates with ProjectSpec expertise are eligible for bonus compensation.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Generate comprehensive design packages, including accurate floor plans, 3D renderings, and space plans using CET Designer, Revit, and AutoCAD.</li><li>Translate complex dealer data into precise design solutions specifically tailored for VA and government healthcare environments.</li><li>Manage technical documentation, including installation drawings, finish boards, typicals, and detailed bills of materials (BOM).</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to government procurement standards and GSA‑approved product guidelines.</li><li>Develop independent product specifications by mastering manufacturer catalogs and ensuring 100% accuracy in ProjectSpec.</li><li>Collaborate with furniture dealers to align product lines with client needs while maintaining compliance.</li><li>Partner with Sales and Project Management to optimize layouts, propose value‑engineeredalternatives, and meet budget constraints.</li><li>Problem‑solve design challenges related to ergonomics, systems furniture, and specialized healthcare requirements.</li><li>Maintain rigorous version control and organized project files to ensure quality standards across multiple active workflows.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a closely related field.</li><li>Proven design experience within a furniture dealership; background in government or healthcare environments is highly preferred.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in CET Designer, Revit, and AutoCAD.</li><li>Hands‑on experience with ProjectSpec is strongly preferred and qualifies for bonus compensation.</li><li>Deep understanding of commercial furniture systems, finishes, space planning standards, and installation requirements.</li><li>Highly creative problem‑solver with the ability to work independently and manage a remote workflow effectively.</li><li>Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple deadlines simultaneously.</li></ul><h3>Technical and Work Environment Requirements</h3><ul><li>Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps; backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.</li><li>Primary device: Desktop or laptop equipped with an Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
