IT Specialist

Role OverviewSalayel Hospitality is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Specialist to support and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure across hospitality operations. The role ensures seamless system performance, data security, and technology support for hotel and serviced apartment environments, contributing to efficient daily operations and an enhanced guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day IT support.Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, servers, and networking equipmentTroubleshoot system, network, POS, PMS, and application issues promptlySupport hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, access control, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and telephony systemsEnsure data security, backups, antivirus updates, and system complianceMonitor system performance and resolve downtime or connectivity issuesCoordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT services and upgradesMaintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and SOPsSupport new property openings, system upgrades, and technology rolloutsTrain staff on basic IT usage, cybersecurity awareness, and system best practicesRequirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field2–5 years of IT support experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-site operationsStrong knowledge of Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN), servers, and hardware troubleshootingExperience with hospitality systems (PMS/POS) is highly preferredBasic knowledge of cybersecurity, backups, and data protectionAbility to handle multiple locations and provide on-call support if requiredStrong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsExperience in UAE hospitality environment is an advantageWhat We OfferCompetitive salary packageOpportunity to work with a growing hospitality group in Abu DhabiExposure to multi-property IT operations and pre-opening projectsProfessional and collaborative work environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
