Junior / General Accountant

OverviewJob Opening: Junior / General AccountantWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior / General Accountant with a minimum of 2+ years of experience to join our finance team. The candidate will handle daily accounting tasks, financial documentation, and ensure accuracy in all transactions. Arabic-speaking applicants are strongly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgersHandle Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivablePrepare supplier and customer invoices and follow up on outstanding paymentsAssist with bank reconciliation and petty cash reportsSupport monthly payroll preparationPrepare VAT schedules and assist with VAT return filingMaintain organized filing of financial and audit documentsAssist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reportsCoordinate with auditors for internal and external auditsCommunicate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments for finance-related mattersProvide administrative and general support to the finance team as requiredRequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2+ years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)Basic knowledge of UAE VAT rules and accounting principlesProficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting softwareStrong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skillsGood communication skills: Arabic speaking preferredAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceVisa + Medical insuranceAnnual leave as per UAE labour lawOther company benefits#J-18808-Ljbffr
