Our multidisciplinary expertise covers molecular biology, genetic sequencing, oncology biomarkers, infectious disease testing, and women’s health diagnostics. We combine innovation with clinical integrity to deliver a new standard in laboratory medicine.Role OverviewThe Laboratory Director provides scientific, technical, and regulatory leadership across all molecular and clinical testing domains. This senior position ensures that all operations adhere to the highest levels of scientific accuracy, compliance, and accreditation—while shaping AtoG Labs’ evolution as a regional leader in molecular diagnostics and genomics.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all scientific and medical functions across molecular diagnostics, genetics, and clinical testing.Oversee assay development, validation, and implementation of new technologies (e.g., PCR, NGS, qPCR, and molecular oncology).Ensure compliance with ISO, CAP, and UAE healthcare regulations across all test areas.Direct and mentor senior scientists, molecular technologists, and quality officers.Collaborate with the Business Manager to align medical integrity with operational and commercial goals.Represent AtoG Labs before regulators, accreditation bodies, and industry partners.Maintain the lab’s medical credibility by participating in case discussions, quality reviews, and result approvals.Evaluate emerging technologies and guide investment in R&D and scientific partnerships.QualificationsMD or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Clinical Pathology, or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of laboratory management experience, with focus on molecular or genetic diagnostics.Proven record in lab setup, validation, and accreditation.Strong understanding of NGS workflows, molecular oncology, virology, and precision medicine.Effective communicator with leadership and mentoring experience.Eligibility for UAE DHA or MOHAP medical director licensing preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
