The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in the land surveying field. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this position.The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, mapping, and analyzing data related to land boundaries, elevations, natural features and other data as needed. The qualified professional must be able to accurately identify boundary lines according to legal documents and use modern surveying tools such as GPS systems, Total Stations or other technology.To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:Three years of experience in land surveyingStrong knowledge of land survey principles and practicesAbility to read and interpret maps, deeds, legal descriptions and survey plansExcellent math skillsGood problem solving and analytical abilitiesGood communication skills both verbal and writtenThe Land Surveyor will be required to measure distances using a variety of instruments including levels, transits or theodolites; create topographical maps using AutoCAD; calculate elevation differences; provide support on environmental projects; operate data collectors or total stations; record field measurements accurately; analyze collected data with mathematical models; develop plans for construction sites; determine appropriate measurement scales; prepare reports outlining findings; consult with property owners or government agencies on boundary disputes.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join an established team in a rewarding role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
