2-year contractPosition: Laying ManagerJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laying Manager to join our team in Fujairah, UAE. The Laying Manager will be responsible for managing the asphalt road project from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the entire laying process of the asphalt road project, including planning, scheduling, and executing all activities.Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Manage and coordinate a team of workers, including subcontractors, to ensure timely completion of the project.Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure budget targets are met.Develop and maintain project schedules, and adjust as necessary to meet changing project needs and deadlines.Provide regular progress updates and reports to the project manager.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being carried out according to specifications and safety standards.Identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the project.Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including daily logs, material usage, and equipment maintenance.Collaborate with other project managers and departments to ensure the smooth execution of the project.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in road construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of asphalt laying techniques, materials, and equipment.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.Proven leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Must be willing to work on-site and in various weather conditions.Valid UAE driving license.#J-18808-Ljbffr
