This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with UAE laws, and supporting commercial teams in risk mitigation and legal decision-making.The successful candidate will work closely with the legal, procurement, sales, and operations teams, contributing to project execution and safeguarding the companys legal and commercial interests.Key Responsibilities:Contract ManagementDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including supply agreements, NDAs, subcontractor and consultancy contracts.Ensure contracts are legally sound, commercially viable, and aligned with UAE laws and industry regulations.Monitor and manage contractual obligations, renewals, and deliverables across projects.Legal Advisory & ComplianceProvide legal support on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract disputes.Stay updated on UAE commercial, civil, labor, and energy laws relevant to gas and utilities sectors.Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other local authority regulations.Risk Management & Dispute ResolutionIdentify legal and commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies.Support dispute resolution, arbitration, and litigation processes.Liaise with external legal counsel when required for escalated legal matters.Commercial & Project SupportSupport commercial teams in negotiations, bid preparation, and tender review.Advise on legal aspects of client and vendor claims, contract variations, and communications.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align legal documentation with project requirements.Document Control & ReportingMaintain a centralized legal contracts database and archiving system.Track and report on contract status, compliance metrics, and risk exposure.Prepare legal summaries, reports, and updates for management.Candidate Requirements:Education & CertificationBachelors Degree in Law (LLB) Required.Masters Degree or Legal Certification (e.g., LPC, Bar) Preferred.Experience36 years of experience in a legal/commercial contracts role.Prior experience in the gas, energy, utilities, or construction sectors.Proven ability in drafting and negotiating technical and commercial contracts.Strong knowledge of UAE contract law, FIDIC, and regulatory frameworks.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills.High attention to detail and analytical thinking.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.Proficient in MS Office and contract management systems.Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.Benefits & Compensation:Competitive tax-free salary based on experience.Health insurance and annual leave as per UAE labor law.Professional development opportunities within a growing company.Similar Job Titles in Dubai:Contracts ExecutiveLegal Counsel CommercialLegal & Compliance OfficerCommercial Contracts SpecialistLegal Advisor Energy SectorTo Apply:Please fill in all the fields and submit your CV to this job post.About Us:Talent Bridge HR Consultancy is a Headhunting Company in Dubai, specializing in Executive Search in Dubai.Your trusted Recruitment Agency in Dubai for hiring the best Talent in Dubai.International Recruitment Consultancy in Dubai.#J-18808-Ljbffr
