OverviewWomen's LibrarianMusaffah, UAE — full-timeThe Women's Librarian at our prestigious library in Musaffah, UAE will be responsible for managing and developing the library's collections, programs, and services specifically targeted towards the female population. This is a full-time position that requires experience in a similar role.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a diverse collection of books, magazines, and digital resources relevant to women's interests and needsPlan and implement programs and events that promote literacy, education, and empowerment for womenProvide reference services and assist patrons with research inquiriesCollaborate with other librarians to ensure the overall success of the library's objectivesStay up-to-date on current trends and resources related to women's issuesFoster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all library visitorsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Library Science or related fieldPrevious experience working as a librarian, preferably in a women-focused settingExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patrons of all ages and backgroundsProficient in using technology for library operations such as cataloging, circulation, and reference servicesBiometric passport required for visa processing (if not already residing in UAE)Indian nationality preferred but not requiredMust be able to work full-time without accommodation providedAs a Women's Librarian, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community by providing valuable resources and empowering women through education.
