The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our library and its resources. The candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and good written and spoken communication skills.Job SummaryThe librarian will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the library, including managing resources, cataloging books, handling catalog requests, and providing assistance to patrons. The librarian also needs to maintain a clean and organized workspace.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate records of library inventoryAssist patrons in locating materialsManage library circulation systemEnsure accuracy in cataloguing materialsPrepare presentations for patronsProcess payments for fines or other feesResolve customer service issues in a professional mannerDevelop new programming initiatives to increase library usageSkills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Library Science or related field preferred3+ years of experience working as a librarianExcellent customer service skillsExcellent organizational skillsStrong written & communication abilitiesAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyBenefitsThis is a full-time position with competitive salary (1800) plus benefits package: health insurance, vacation time, sick leave, etc. We are also open to considering an immigrant for this position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
