Maintenance Supervisor

OverviewDriven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Parker’s, Somewhere, Public, Soil, Shalwa and Kumo.We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing preventive and breakdown maintenance across all restaurant outlets, ensuring smooth operations, safety compliance, and cost-effective facility management.ResponsibilitiesOversee the continuous operation and repair of all civil, MEP, HVAC, plumbing, and specialized kitchen equipment across all restaurant branches.Develop and implement rigorous preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and prevent operational disruptions.Lead the rapid response to emergency maintenance requests, coordinating immediate corrective actions to ensure business continuity.Conduct frequent inspections of outlets and central kitchens to ensure strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and brand standards.Maintain the corporate office infrastructure, ensuring all power, internet, and climate control systems function without interruption.Manage and evaluate the performance of external vendors and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) to ensure service level adherence and cost-efficiency.Supervise the maintenance of high-capacity production equipment in the central kitchen, including industrial refrigeration and exhaust systems.Manage all maintenance documentation, including compliance records, budget reports, and resource optimization plans for the entire organization.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with extensive F&B industry experience.Valid HACCP and NEBOSH certifications to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.Must possess a valid UAE driver’s license for travel between various outlets.Proven track record in managing CAPEX projects, kitchen fit-outs, and equipment lifecycles.#J-18808-Ljbffr
