Be among the first 25 applicantsOverviewMason technician should have experience in laying building materials, such as brick, structural tile, and concrete, glass, gypsum, and terra cotta block to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, waterproofing knowledge and other structures.ResponsibilitiesLayout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings.Fabricates, alters, repairs, and maintains walls, sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathroom showers, sink counters, partitions, manholes, and other related structures or surfaces.Make assessments, reports, and note needed materials.Knowledge in tile, brick and cement setting.Knowledge in operating light and heavy equipment materials.Knowledge and skill in the construction, alteration, repair, and maintenance of masonry structures and surfaces.Knowledge of waterproofing methods and application of different materials.Ability to work under pressure with less supervision.Can assess future problems with the construction.Other duties could include working in other areas of the maintenance department to provide support during absences or shortage of staff in other trades or to perform duties associated with light construction projects.Requires flexibility and understanding that all maintenance staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Facility Services Department.Qualifications And RequirementsTraining in vocational schools or an associate's degree in the related field.A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a mason.Ability to determine problems and decide what to do about them, repair using the needed tools.Competencies (in order of importance)Attention to Detail: being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.Dependability: being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligations.Cooperation: being pleasant with others and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.Integrity: being honest and ethical.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOtherLocation: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia#J-18808-Ljbffr
