Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Meeting & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating and executing successful meetings and events for our clients in this vibrant city.Manage and coordinate all aspects of meetings and events from initial client inquiries to post-event follow-upsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless event executionCreate and manage event timelines, budgets and logisticsConduct site visits and prepare detailed proposals for clientsOversee event setup including room layouts, audiovisual equipment and catering arrangementsManage event-related communications, BEOs, confirmations and post-event surveysCoordinate with various departments to ensure all event requirements are metHandle last‑minute changes and resolve any issues that arise during eventsPrepare and distribute function sheets, contracts and invoicesConduct post‑event evaluations and prepare reports for managementStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve event offeringsLeverage knowledge of local vendors and event spaces in Dubai to enhance event experiencesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality or related fieldProven experience in Meeting & Events coordination or the hospitality industryStrong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail‑oriented with a keen eye for precision in event planning and executionProficiency in event management software and toolsOutstanding customer service orientation and problem‑solving abilitiesAdaptability to handle last‑minute changes and work under pressureExcellent time management and multitasking skillsStrong budgeting and financial management abilitiesKnowledge of local vendors and event spaces in DubaiProficiency in Arabic is preferredFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for event schedulesAdditional InformationWhat is in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activitiesRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
