With key offices in Dubai, Riyadh and most recently, Doha, we are looking for a leader who has experience across the region.What you’ll doBe responsible for developing and driving our MENA communications strategy for the business, laying out a detailed plan for achieving objectives and clear, measurable resultsDevelop and maintain the external narrative of our MENA business, in close partnership with the VP of MENA, as well as General Managers for UAE and KSA. Preparing executive for thought leadership communications and key speaking engagementsLead a team of comms and media specialists in UAE and KSA to execute the MENA comms strategy across media + creator engagementTake an audience‑led approach to developing a diverse comms strategy that reaches advertisers/agencies, parents, policymakers and SnapchattersShape and influence stakeholder thinking and expectations, building trust in a kind, smart and creative environmentDrive positive reputational outcomes in MENA and take a hands‑on approach to driving activity across the market with your teamBe a critical partner to cross‑functional teams across the business, including Marketing, Sales, Global Brand Experience, Talent & Partnerships, Creative Strategy and Business Insights – collaborating to align with the right strategies and desired outcomesLead and develop work that highlights our contribution to MENA, technology leadership and growing community, educates brands and creative agencies about our products, strategy and creative campaigns, driving share of voice in key trade and vertical sector press, shows Snapchat’s relevance and importance in daily lives of our community, and demonstrates the work we do to keep Snapchatters safe and the tools/resources available for our communityBuild, strengthen and nurture key media relationships and have responsibility and oversight of the MENA press officeWork closely with MENA management to prepare them for media interviews, speaking engagements and internal milestone momentsInspire others to do great work and lead from the front in showing what great ideas and results look like, while supporting and mentoring the MENA Comms team to help them grow and developLead and manage our agency partner relationships in the MENA to deliver a drumbeat of moments and coverage aligned to our business goalsServe as a spokesperson for the media and be a trusted contact for reporters who rely on you for timely, accurate informationKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDeep understanding of the media landscape in MENA, across national, business, advertising and industry trade mediaFluent in ArabicStrong experience of working cross‑functionally with our partners and stakeholder management both internally and externallyExperience of working on relevant multidisciplinary communications programs with strong experience in B2B communicationsComfortable with the uncertainty of change and able to deal constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomesStrong news judgement and relationships with top tier media and influencersAbility to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution and attention to detailAbility to prioritise effectively to deliver against business prioritiesAbility to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, make decisions, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlinesExperience of working with agencies and managing external partnersImplement smart use of tools like AI to help aide our comms functionMinimum qualifications12+ years relevant experienceProven leadership experience managing regional communications teamsDemonstrated experience developing and executing B2B communications strategiesStrong track record of building and protecting brand reputation in complex marketsEstablished relationships with top‑tier regional media across UAE and KSABachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related
