MEP Architect - Design

Role OverviewMid-level MEP Architect (Design) with strong AutoCAD experience and hands‑on exposure in designing and coordinating MEP systems. The candidate should be capable of preparing detailed MEP drawings and coordinating layouts with architectural and structural teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare MEP design and shop drawings using AutoCAD, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Drainage, and Fire Fighting layouts.Develop and revise MEP layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings in coordination with architectural and structural drawings.Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements, codes, and standards (UAE / GCC preferred).Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve design and coordination issues.Support design calculations, material take-offs, and BOQ preparation when required.Update drawings based on site inputs, RFIs, and design revisions.Maintain drawing standards, layering, and document control.Key SkillsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.Good understanding of MEP system design and coordination.Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.Knowledge of MEP symbols, standards, and coordination practices.Experience in commercial, residential, or mixed‑use projects is preferred.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.GCC or UAE project experience is an added advantage.Knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage, but not mandatory.#J-18808-Ljbffr
