MEP Design Engineer

Job Code: 341/001/307Industry: Engineering ConsultancyJob BriefAn established engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced MEP Design Engineer to support the design and execution of residential and commercial building projects in Dubai. The role involves preparing complete MEP designs, ensuring authority compliance, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical support throughout the construction phase.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems for residential and commercial projects.Prepare detailed MEP design calculations, layouts, schematics, and drawings in line with project requirements.Ensure all designs comply with Dubai Municipality (DM), DEWA, DCD, and relevant UAE codes and standards.Prepare, review, and coordinate MEP design drawings and technical documentation.Coordinate closely with architectural and structural teams to ensure design integration and clash-free solutions.Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions for compliance with approved designs and specifications.Provide technical support during the construction stage, including responding to site queries and resolving design-related issues.Job RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Minimum 3 years of UAE consultancy experience in MEP design.Proven experience handling G+4 / G+5 residential and commercial building projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant MEP design software.Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively with consultants, site teams, and authorities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
