Position: MEP DirectorIndustry: ConstructionLocation: QatarContract Type: Full-Time, PermanentVacancies: 1Salary Benchmark: NegotiableNationality: Arab Nationals PreferredAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic MEP Director to lead and oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of large-scale infrastructure and utility projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing complex MEP operations within mega construction projects, with a proven track record of working alongside regulatory authorities such as Ashghal. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive excellence in project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, direction, and strategic oversight for all MEP functions across assigned projects.Oversee planning, design, execution, and delivery of MEP systems within infrastructure, utilities, tunnels, underpasses, service corridors, water supply, and drainage networks.Ensure compliance with Ashghal standards, regulations, and other relevant authority requirements.Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and ensure timely delivery within cost and quality parameters.Lead coordination between MEP disciplines and other engineering departments.Develop and implement best practices, quality assurance standards, and safety protocols.Engage with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and maintain project progress.Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and innovation.RequirementsEducation: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field.Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in MEP within construction, infrastructure, and utilities.Proven expertise in infrastructure and utility projects (tunnels, underpasses, service corridors, water supply & drainage networks).Strong background working with Ashghal or similar government/regulatory authorities.Demonstrated involvement in mega projects with leadership responsibilities.Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.Candidates must already be available in Qatar with a valid QID, passport, and NOC.#J-18808-Ljbffr
