Morson Talent are currently looking for an NDI Specialist to join our prestigious client in Taif, Saudi Arabia. Please see all relevant details below if you are interested in this position.Role Objective & Outline ResponsibilityTo undertake scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities of Non-Destructive Inspection in support of Typhoon operations and in accordance with the RSAF Typhoon maintenance policy, ensuring that all Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with Saudi Arabia SALAM Maintenance Organisation Exposition and associated Quality Management System.Main ResponsibilitiesUndertaking all NDI activities within the scope of the NDI test regime.Ensuring all tasks are undertaken in accordance with company/RSAF procedures and processes.Ensure that all electronic data systems are utilized correctly within process and adhere to operating procedures.Ensuring that all personnel engaged in activities in areas under his control follow the correct engineering practices, observe safety precautions and that as far as is reasonably practicable no one is exposed to any unnecessary or uncontrolled risk.In the absence of the work centre supervisor, he is to manage the available manpower by coordinating with his Specialist Supervisors to ensure aircraft generation.Depth Management and Customer general information is readily available either upon request.Ensure all quality aspects of the tasks are complied with, and to the highest standards.Ensure shift handovers are carried out without ambiguity and that daily diaries are maintained.Ensure all tasks are undertaken in the specified timescales to support the AGF.The prompt investigation of all components returned as defective, especially when subject to an incident report.Ensure that all health and safety aspects of the task are fully complied with and that all necessary protective equipment is available and serviceable and is used on each relevant task.Ensure all tasks are undertaken using the correct tooling and adherence to tool control procedures are maintained.Recruitment Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceEssentialA recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.Have at least 5 years post qualification practical maintenance experience supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training.Have attained Specialist Level 2 NDI qualification (e.g. EN4179, ASNT, PCN) in at least 4 methods (PT, MT, ET and UT)Leadership skills and proven ability to supervise all levels of engineering personnel.DesirableThorough understanding of company processes and procedures.Broad aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge.Supervisory experience within the area of definition.An understanding of RAF and /or RSAF engineering operating procedures.A track record of meeting strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality.Previous experience of delivering work place training.An understanding of ESS or similar electronic based reporting system.Holds 2nd signature.CORE (Q3) FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIESDemonstrate knowledge / understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.Must have completed a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship in industry/military or similar qualification in aircraft systems.Must have experience on fast-jetsMust Have Specialist Level 2 NDI qualification (e.g. EN4179, ASNT, PCN) in at least 4 methods (PT, MT, ET and UT)Must have experience working knowledge of EASA Part 145High level of interpersonal skill to co-ordinate a number of activities and the ability to communicate, influence and direct decision-makingPRODUCT SAFETY & SHE RESPONSIBILITIESSafety Culture is defined as an organisation’s values and behaviors - modelled by its leaders and internalised by its team members.SHE ResponsibilitiesCompliance with local SHE Plan.Accident/Incident information collation and reporting.Attendance at local SHE meetings and reviewsMandated SHE TrainingCompletion of SHE InductionBe Safe course for Professional StaffFire Awareness - all employeesSafetyComply with the Salam Enterprise Safety and Environmental Management Plan and where appropriate, any associated sub-project safety management plans.Highlight any safety concerns to line managers to inform the Salam Safety Case.#J-18808-Ljbffr
