It has been an active partner in supporting economic growth and social development in the Kingdom and is a listed joint stock company.Job DescriptionThe Open Banking Business Lead will drive the bank’s Open Banking strategy, partnerships, and commercial model in Saudi Arabia, ensuring alignment with SAMA regulations, market trends, and the bank’s digital transformation objectives. The role will act as the primary business owner for Open Banking initiatives, working closely with Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, and Partnerships teams to deliver scalable and secure Open Banking propositions.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & VisionDefine and own the bank’s Open Banking strategy in KSA in alignment with SAMA regulations and market evolution.Develop a clear roadmap covering:Account Information Services (AIS)Payment Initiation Services (PIS)Data sharing use casesThird‑party provider (TPP) ecosystem strategyIdentify new business models and revenue opportunities enabled by Open Banking (APIs, partnerships, data monetization, embedded finance).Regulatory & Market Leadership (KSA Context)Act as the primary business representative with:SAMALocal Open Banking players (e.g., Tarabut, Lean, Mojaz, Saudi Fintechs)Industry working groups and committeesEnsure business compliance with:SAMA Open Banking FrameworkData privacy and consent management requirementsCybersecurity and risk standardsStay updated on KSA regulatory changes and market developments related to Open Banking.Product & Use Case DevelopmentLead definition of Open Banking use cases, including but not limited to:Personal finance management (PFM) integrationsMerchant payments via Open BankingLending & credit decisioning via bank dataWealth & investment data sharingCross-bank account aggregationWork with Digital Banking, Payments, and Retail Banking teams to embed Open Banking into customer journeys.Partnerships & Ecosystem ManagementBuild and manage relationships with:FintechsTPPs (Third-Party Providers)API aggregators (e.g., Tarabut, Lean)Big tech and payment playersNegotiate commercial terms for API usage, data access, and revenue sharing models.Define partner onboarding framework, including technical, legal, and risk requirements.Commercial Model & Business PerformanceDevelop and manage the Open Banking commercial model, including:API pricing strategyPartner revenue modelsCost vs. value analysisDefine KPIs such as:Number of active TPPsAPI call volumesRevenue from Open BankingCustomer adoption metricsTrack and report business performance to senior leadership.Cross‑Functional LeadershipWork closely with:Technology – API design, performance, and reliabilityRisk & Compliance – consent management, fraud prevention, and regulatory adherenceLegal – contracts and data‑sharing agreementsDigital Banking & Payments – integration into customer journeysCybersecurity – security controls and data protectionAct as the bridge between business and technology.QualificationsExperience8–12 years of experience in Digital Banking, Payments, or Fintech; or Open Banking, APIs, or Platform Banking.Direct experience in the Saudi market (KSA) is highly preferred.Experience working with SAMA or understanding of Saudi regulatory landscape.Experience managing fintech partnerships or third‑party integrations.Technical & Business SkillsStrong understanding of Open Banking concepts (AIS, PIS, APIs, OAuth, consent models).Digital payments ecosystem in KSA.Fintech landscape in Saudi Arabia.Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.Experience in building business cases and commercial models.#J-18808-Ljbffr
