PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse

We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurses to join a prestigious and internationally accredited healthcare institution in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for Western-trained nurses looking to advance their careers in a dynamic, multicultural environment delivering world-class patient care.As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety, comfort, and swift recovery in a fast-paced and state-of-the-art setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to post-operative patients in the recovery unit.Monitor vital signs and consciousness levels following anesthesia and surgery.Assess patients for pain, nausea, or other post-surgical complications and intervene appropriately.Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other multidisciplinary team members.Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.Provide emotional support to patients and families during recovery.Adhere to international best practices and infection control protocols.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a Western-accredited institution (e.g., UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.).Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience in a hospital setting.Eligible for or in possession of a DHA license or eligibility letter.BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory.Strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure, fast-paced situations.Culturally sensitive, patient-focused, and collaborative.Willing to work in Dubai.#J-18808-Ljbffr
