Pharmacy Technician

OverviewWe are hiring for the position of Pharmacy Technician for a reputed medical center located in Jeddah.ResponsibilitiesUnpacks and stores supplies, verifies items received against invoices and stores perishables such as antibiotics in refrigerators.Checks invoices against order to make sure all items are received (supply requisitions).Maintains inventory of supplies and prepares order for new supplies as requested by Pharmacist.Prepare and deliver ward stock to the various nursing stations / wards. Maintains records showing their disposition.Fills containers with medications apportioned to machine and affixes labels to containers for use in the hospital pharmacy or nursing units.Fills positioned vials following written requisitions.Pours liquids into measured glass or plastic containers, salves or ointments spatulas to fill container. Caps, seals, labels and deliver to Pharmacy or Store Room.Performs miscellaneous duties such as keeping work clean and clearly and orderly, cleaning equipment and maintaining records.Compounds I.V mixtures, irrigating solutions and other parenteral products under direct supervision of Pharmacist.Prepares and types prescription labels, fills containers, affixes labels for out-patient prescriptions under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist.Participates in the improvement of quality in the hospital (Quality Management Program).Prepares other job related duties required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
