This is a client-facing role. You will be responsible for performing more complex aspects of planning and scheduling, including planning, change management, scheduled maintenance, and multi-project resource management.We are looking to bring in dedicated individuals with a passion for innovation and talent for multitasking in a fast-paced environment. We will help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what inspires you so we can make big impacts on the world, together.ResponsibilitiesEstablish a strong relationship with the client and communicate with both technical and management-level personnelReview project plans, requirements, and specificationsWork with the client and contractors to establish work breakdown structures (WBS), CPM baseline schedules, and integrated master schedules (IMS)Load schedules with resource and cost informationPerform resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and resource strainUpdate, maintain, and revise monthly and weekly schedules and reportsPrepare PowerPoint decks and present to management on progress, findings, and recommendationsCoordinate and conduct reviews of consultants, contractors, and vendor schedules, to ensure plans are achievable and meet the client's standards and contract specificationsReport on comparisons of monthly schedule updates - including changes, delays, or accelerationsTrack, analyze, and prepare onsite construction productivity reportsDeveloping and implementing an earned value system (EVM) that accurately measures project work progress and performanceIdentify program and project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate the impact of these risksPerform what-if and delay analyses as neededAct as the primary communication link between the company and clients regarding contracts and project progress, and have the ability to handle client demandsPerform other related duties as required and assignedQualificationsRequired Qualifications3+ years of construction planning and scheduling experienceBachelor's degree in construction engineering, engineering, project management, or related technical fieldAn excellent understanding of construction and scheduling best practicesHighly proficient in Primavera P6, including resource management (resource and cost loading, tracking, leveling, reporting, etc.)Highly proficient in Microsoft ProjectExperience developing various types of reports, targeting different audiences (i.e., critical path reports, resource histograms, forecast reports, etc.)Experience in client-facing positionsDemonstrated ability to understand technical and complicated construction programs and the ability to communicate progress to both technical and management-level personnelStrong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with any audience clearly and accuratelyAdvanced in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel (reporting and dashboards)Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Power BI experienceDatacenter experienceEarned Value Management experiencePSP or PMI-SP certificationActive membership in PMI, AACEi, or similar associationsExperience developing various types of reports, targeting different audiences (i.e., critical path reports, resource histograms, forecast reports, etc.)Experience in client-facing positionsPosition DetailsPosition: Planning EngineerPrimary Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaPosition Classification: Salary-based full-time hoursProductivity ToolsPrimavera P6Microsoft ProjectMicrosoft OfficeMicrosoft 365Power BIPlease Note: This position is part of our anticipated expansion in Saudi Arabia.
