Plant Accountant (Saudi National)Overview:The Plant Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing all financial transactions, reporting, and cost controls within a manufacturing plant. This role ensures accurate financial records, compliancewith Saudi regulations, and supports strategic decision-making to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations specific to plant operationsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reconciliationsAnalyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to predict future revenues and expensesOversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management activities; assist in annual budget preparation and new standard cost settingMonitor and analyze production and inventory costs, providing detailed variance analysis and cost control recommendationsEnsure compliance with Saudi financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls1Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and ensure adherence to relevant compliance frameworksCollaborate with plant management to provide financial insights and support operational decision-makingManage fixed asset capitalization, inventory adjustments, and related documentationParticipate in month-end close processes, journal entry preparation, and bank reconciliationsSupport payroll processing and address employee queries related to compensation and benefitsTrain and mentor junior accounting staff as neededQualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 2–5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skillsDeep understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing operationsKnowledge of Saudi Arabian tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirementsHigh attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to work with sensitive informationStrong interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English required, Arabic is an advantage.Saudi nationality required (per Saudization policies).We Offer:Opportunity to work for the global leader of above ground fuel storage industry and develop your career furtherOngoing industry training and certifications i.e. health and safety etc.Competitive remuneration and benefits as per local lawHigh-end equipmentAre you excited about joining a highly diverse international team and the prospect of contributing to an industry-leader in emissions-mitigation equipment for aboveground storage tanks?
