This role will be based in the client office in Abu Dhabi city on a residential basis.ResponsibilitiesDirect and supervise a team of relevant discipline engineersReview pipeline alignment sheetsReview and supervise pipeline design basis and stress analysisReview Pig launcher and receiver units and design, etc.Ensure application of correct standards in all FEED / EPC deliverables related to oil and gas processing, production, and export projectsDevelop local staff to fulfill engineering and management rolesUnderstand environmental aspects (ISO14001) of oil and gas designUnderstand safety aspects of design related to project cycle (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP, HAZAN, IPF classification, reliability studies, Fire and Gas mapping, risk analysis)Prepare RFQ technical packages for pipeline scopesEstimate engineering, construction, and material costs; plan schedules and resources; update resource capacity biannuallyProvide engineering expertise in risers, subsea pipelines, landfalls, subsea manifolds, piping design, and subsea pipelinesCoordinate with construction engineers and installation schemesReview procurement activities including specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, bid evaluations, and vendor documents for pipelinesReview stress analysis of underground and surface-laid pipelines using CAESAR II softwarePrepare and review pipeline alignment sheets, crossing schedules, GADs, and schematic drawingsImplement quality and HSE standards to meet industry benchmarksQualificationsB.Sc.
