Expression of Interest: Policy Subject Matter Expert (Consultant)We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Policy Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support an upcoming potential national‑level initiative focused on strengthening regulatory alignment, governance practices and capacity within the nonprofit and community ecosystem.This is a consultancy‑based, part‑time opportunity. Please note that submitting an expression of interest is not a guarantee of shortlisting or a call‑back, as progression will depend on project award and final scope confirmation.About the RoleThe consultant will provide specialised policy expertise across NPO, municipal and housing regulations, contributing to the design, refinement and implementation of frameworks, operational models and policy‑aligned interventions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert policy input into the development of classification frameworks and operational standards.Ensure alignment with national policies, municipal regulations and sector governance requirements.Conduct ongoing review of policy and regulatory updates and recommend necessary adjustments.Support the development and delivery of workshops, tools and learning materials focused on policy compliance.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Regulatory, Quality & Audit, Housing, Impact and other SMEs.Engage relevant stakeholders to validate policy interpretations and maintain alignment with sector priorities.Deep expertise in NPO, municipal or housing sector policy and regulation.Experience in policy advisory, regulatory compliance, public‑sector consulting or nonprofit governance.Strong ability to translate complex policy concepts into practical operational guidance.Detail‑oriented, analytical and confident working with multiple specialist groups.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience contributing to programme or framework design is beneficial.#J-18808-Ljbffr
