Procurement Engineer, Construction Firm, Jeddah,Job DescriptionJob Title Procurement Engineer/OfficerExperience Required 1+About the CompanyA leading construction Firm Located in Jeddah & Riyadh seeks Procurement Engineer.Job DescriptionConducting market research and collect information of suppliers & subcontractors.Managing professional effective division and maintain good network of suppliers and subcontractors in line with the companys market and growth strategy.Maintaining accurate record list of the suppliers & subcontractor.Assisting the projects manager with the analysis of information and in providing recommendations.Follow up with project manager for Material delivery to site.Verifies invoices from supplies and approve by checking PO and delivery notesAdminister and coordinate with Project Managers for the timely site measurements before ordering the materials.Ensure Material procurement at the best possible rates in the market, on time withright quality and safety standards and as per projects budget, time and as per cash flow conditions, to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.Prioritize Material study and long lead materials based on Project time Schedule andCoordinate it with the project manager.Manages& Controls all Procurement operations (RFQ, bid evaluation, Prequalification of vendors, Negotiation, purchase order, Quality evaluation, and delivery to site) considering all of payment terms, time, Logistics from Bid stage to delivery at site.Evaluate suppliers for selected materials and Preparing comparison sheet and recommendation reports taking into consideration the allowable budget.Preparing Technical Submittals for selected Material and follow up till Materials are approved.Issuing Subcontracts considering projects budget, time schedule, quality plan, payment conditions, Progress billing, delay damages, Etc,Review and verify the commercial & financial terms of invoices.Responsible for valuations, certifications and approvals of Contractors.Monthly progress invoices for stage payments in line with contractual payment terms and with the principles of measurements till final accounts.Preparing Purchase Order or Subcontract Agreement.Evaluate and finalize the variations submitted by the subcontractors in line with the contract, specification, substantiations, obligations and backup quotations.Analyze and understand the variation scope.Ready to do what is required of you under the direction of the Department Manager.Carrying out any task assigned to him that is not fundamentally different from the tasks of the Procurement Officer.RequirementBA Degree in civil Engineering.Min + 1 years relevant experience in a similar in construction and contracting Industry.(KSA Experience is a Must)Manage multiple projects and priorities.Ability to function as a Purchasing Agent and/Subcontract Administrator.Keywords: Procurement, Purchasing,Civil.Required SkillsAnalysis HIM Approvals Cash Flow Quotations Civil Engineering Purchasing Market Research Contractors Cash Procurement Strategy Construction Negotiation Payments Vendors Materials Suppliers Research Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
