Job Description

The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end procurement activities across the airline's operational, commercial, and corporate functions. The role ensures compliance with internal governance, cost-control frameworks, and contractual standards while driving procurement excellence, supplier performance, and cross-functional alignment. The position plays a key role in managing vendor relationships, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring continuity of supply across all stations and departments.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a sourcing strategy for airline categories including ground handling, catering, inflight products, and logisticsAlign procurement activities with organizational goals and budget constraintsConduct market research and price comparisons for informed decision-makingUtilize competitive sourcing methods (RFP, RFQ) while following governance policiesCollaborate with Legal and Finance on vendor contracts and ensure compliance with aviation standardsTrack contract renewals and manage the renegotiation process to prevent service disruptionsUphold procurement policies and monitor vendor compliance through SLAs and KPIsNurture relationships with suppliers and oversee vendor onboarding processesMonitor vendor performance and address any deviations with operational teamsLead evaluations of offers and validate financial documentation against contractsAssist with cost-saving initiatives and maintain dashboards for procurement savingsManage sourcing for crew uniforms and ensure logistics lifecycle accuracyCoordinate with various teams to support operational needs and provide internal sourcing assistanceEngage in audits and standardize procurement practices while maintaining organized documentationPrepare monthly procurement reports and ensure compliance with aviation audit standardsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or related fieldMinimum 5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in aviation, hospitality, or supply chain-intensive environmentsStrong understanding of contracting, negotiation, logistics, and procurement governanceExperience managing multiple vendors and categories in a fast-paced, multi-station environmentExcellent analytical, financial, and commercial evaluation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement toolsKey CompetenciesStrong negotiation and commercial acumenHigh level of professionalism, diplomacy, and stakeholder managementStrong sense of accountability and ownershipAbility to manage competing priorities and tight timelinesDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and documentation skillsEthical, compliant, and process-driven decision-making#J-18808-Ljbffr
