We are looking for someone with strong product thinking, structured problem solving, and the ability to translate user and business needs into clear solutions. This role involves working across the full product lifecycle from framing problems and shaping direction through to detailed design and delivery. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering, seek clarity with users and data, and help ship meaningful outcomes that improve the lives of our customers.You willCollaborate with product and engineering to understand problems, validate needs, and define opportunitiesShape end to end product experiences through user journeys, flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity executionIntroduce simplicity to complex journeys across Careem’s mobile and web productsUse research and feedback to inform decisions and reduce riskIntegrate modern design tools and AI‑driven workflows into the design process to increase exploration depth, reduce bottlenecks, and speed up executionPresent product rationale and design decisions clearly to peers, stakeholders, and leadershipContribute to our design standards and patterns so teams can move faster with qualityRequirements3 to 5 plus years of experience designing consumer products for mobile and webAbility to think in systems and design for full scenarios rather than individual screensStrong product reasoning and problem‑solving skills with clear articulation of decisionsExcellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with cross‑functional teamsFamiliarity with user research methods including interviews and usability testsExperience working in iterative environments with fast feedback cyclesExperience using AI based tools for design, research, prototyping, or content creation as part of regular workflowsA portfolio that demonstrates product thinking, problem‑solving, and strong execution with case studies encouragedNice to haveExperience with design systemsExperience with metrics, experimentation, or data‑informed designWhat we’ll provide youWe offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow.
