Eaton has approximately 96,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.What You’ll DoOur Team in Dubai is seeking a Product engineer manager to look after full product lifecycle management, for Fire Devices products within the Global Fire Devices range:Full product lifecycle management of the Fire Devices portfolio, aligning strategy with other Product Managers within the business by using engineering skillset.Using the Eaton Fire Devices platform portfolio to aid in developing bespoke Fire addressable technical engineering solutions for our large OEM customers.Highly experienced in Project Leadership & Management of new product solutions, working with Engineering and supporting functions to deliver new product.Working closely with Sales Teams to help manage customer Technical engineering expectations and guide the internal and external customer to the most appropriate solution by using engineering skillset.Regular face to face meetings with large multinational corporations, and distributors, will require a professional approach and excellent communication skills.Identifying the needs of our customers and developing technical strategies to use Eaton products to help them grow.In time, deep technical understanding of the device portfolio of Eaton Fire products, their feature sets, and capabilities.Experience with Fire Alarm Certification and Approvals, ideally with EN54-3, 11 & 23, and European Approval bodies, or equivalent UL portfolioAnalysis and refinement of customer business cases to assess the value to Eaton.Analyze market and competition. Identify potential areas of growth for Eaton.Deliver business cases and manage the profit and loss for the range of products under their responsibility.Frequently meetings with internal teams for technical discussions about new products and innovations to understand their respective strategies to ensure alignment with Eaton’s Fire business.Maintain SIOP forecasts and engage regularly with the operation's team.Manage annual pricing reviews and continuous margin analysis through the product lifecycle.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, or relevant technical field3+ years of experience in a similar positionExperience with Fire DevicesSkillsExperience with Fire Alarm Certification and Approvals.
