As a Project Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational aspects of our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reportsMonitor project costs and variances to identify potential issues and implement corrective actionsPrepare and review project financial statements, including profit and loss statements and cash flow projectionsCollaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and monitor progress against milestonesConduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans for projectsCommunicate project financial status and risks to project stakeholders and managementEnsure compliance with company and client financial policies and proceduresProvide guidance and support to project teams on financial mattersAssist with project invoicing and collectionsParticipate in project reviews and provide recommendations for improvementContribute to the development and implementation of project control processes and proceduresQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in project control or project management, preferably in the engineering or construction industryStrong understanding of project financial management principles and practicesProficient in project management software and tools, such as Primavera or Microsoft ProjectExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of UAE project management regulations and standards is a plusProfessional certification in project management or finance is an assetWhy Work for Stantec?Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects with a global teamCompetitive salary and benefits packageCareer development and growth opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative work environmentCommitment to sustainability and community involvementIf you are a motivated and results-driven professional with a passion for project management, we want to hear from you!
