Job DetailsJob Title: Project Manager – IT Department: Information Technology (IT)Reports to: AVP IT Service ManagementPrepared By: VP – ITGrade of Reporting Manager: FC10Prepared On: Feb 2025Proposed Grade: FC08Evaluated On: Feb 2025Update/ Upgrade / New Role: New RoleJob Code: NP0503Job PurposeThe job holder will manage resources, mitigate risks, keep track of project timelines and will act as the central point of communication between stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams that will ensure successful delivery of technology-related projects within EKFC.Job Dimensions and ScopeDirect Reports: –Indirect Reports: –Impact on Revenue: –Impact on Cost: –Impact on Employee (count): –Organisation StructureSVP FinanceVP ITAVP IT Service ManagementProject Manager – ITKey Result AreasExecute IT Project Office strategies, processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.Manage and oversee the allocation of resources across IT projects, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools such as Monday.com/Jira to ensure that IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.Monitor and report on the performance of the IT project office and projects, using metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement via progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to foster communication and aid in decision‑making.Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises to devise contingency plans.Build, develop, and grow business relationships through effective communication with external clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.Lead and manage the IT project team, oversee projects, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members for accountability and success.Oversee the integration of, new or existing applications, infra & digital transformation projects by coordinating objectives, involving stakeholders, understanding risks, and providing adequate support and training to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with business goals.Conduct project post‑mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.Oversee the projects budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints and the company receives the best value for its technology investments.Job ContextWith the organization’s continuous efforts to improve and enhance our existing systems and IT infrastructure, the IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that all technology‑related projects are successfully planned, executed, and managed. The job holder’s expertise will help streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enable growth through the effective use of technology.Knowledge, Skills & Minimum ExperienceEducation Qualification:Bachelor or master’s degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent degreePRINCE2 or Agile, PMP certification is a plus.Work Experience:Minimum 7 years of project management experienceProven experience in project management in the IT sector is a must.Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices is a must.Experience with managing teams and resources in a fast‑paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.Strong working knowledge of relevant project management tools like Monday.com, MS Project or JIRA is a must.Skills:Strong analytical and reporting skillsSolid technical background, with understanding or hands‑on experience in Infrastructure, software development, cloud and web technologiesStrong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges is a mustExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously is a mustExcellent CxO‑facing and internal communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
