Stantec is currently looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi and support our ongoing projects in the UAE. The role involves working on projects associated with wastewater and water engineering. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction management.ResponsibilitiesManage project delivery and executionProject delivery planning and controlDetermine budgets, timelines, and cost estimates for project, design and constructionManagement of project financialsDevelopment of project programs and project execution plansInternal and external project reportingContract management and reportingOversee the construction phase and liaise with contractors and developersManagement of sub‑consultantsQuality and HSE assuranceOversee project technical delivery as part of a teamUnderstanding of client requirements and processesManaging all stages of the design process from concept to detail design and tenderLeading the engineering delivery team and managing project activities through the application of technical engineering planning principles and techniquesReview project deliverables including writing technical reports, gathering information, drafting proposals and handling project correspondenceWork in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problemsLiaison with the different teams working to facilitate completion of tasks and projectGood communicatorSupport the team through the delivery process including the technical studies and site investigationsClient service managementClient and stakeholder management, communication and liaisonInternal and external client liaisonAbility to build and maintain lasting and positive relationshipsFollow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe mannerComplete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality ProceduresDesign for safety i.e. Construction Design ManagementOther duties as requested from time to time to maintain business continuity and developmentQualificationsMust have a minimum of 15‑20 years post‑graduate experience & 10 years of related experienceMust have an Engineering Degree in an appropriate disciplineConstruction supervision experience is a mustMust have experience in sewerage networksMust have experience locally in either Abu Dhabi / Al AinMust possess a professional certificationMust be licensed/registered with a recognized authorityPreferably has worked with TAQA Water Solution / SWS / ADSSCHas to have good communication skillsMust have experience locally in either Abu Dhabi / Al Ain#J-18808-Ljbffr
