PROJECT MANAGER - United Arab Emirates

We are looking for a figure to lead the execution of a major industrial plant construction project in Abu Dhabi UAE.This is a pivotal role for an experienced project management professional with a strong track record in industrial construction.As the companys local representative the person will oversee the entire project lifecycle from planning and budgeting to final delivery ensuring seamless coordination between stakeholders and timely completion. This role requires close collaboration with the European headquarters management of local consultants engagement with UAE authorities for permits and approvals and supervision of suppliers and contractors.This position offers a unique opportunity to establish and strengthen the companys operational presence in the UAE while driving the success of a flagship industrial project.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Oversee the full project lifecycle from budgeting planning and execution to commissioning and client handover.Local Authority Engagement: Manage relationships with UAE authorities ensuring compliance with local regulations and securing necessary approvals.Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the key liaison between the European headquarters local consultants and project stakeholders.Procurement & Supply Chain: Manage the procurement of materials from international suppliers and identify opportunities for localizing supply chain activities with UAEbased partners.Technical Oversight: Supervise onsite activities including construction equipment installation testing and commissioning.Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks ensuring delivery on time within scope and on budget.Performance Monitoring: Monitor project KPIs reporting progress to management and proactively addressing any deviations.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations standards and reporting requirements.Required Qualifications & Skills:Extensive experience in managing largescale industrial construction projects.Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations standards and procedures.Proficient in project planning cost management risk management and quality control.Stakeholder Management experience engaging with authorities consultants and suppliers in the UAE.Strong understanding of construction mechanical and electrical systems in industrial plant environments.Ability to anticipate issues solve complex problems and drive project decisions with confidence.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Leadership and demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage stakeholders at all levels.UAE Residency: Candidates already residing in the UAE are strongly preferred.Required Experience:IC#J-18808-Ljbffr
