With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.ContextAs SYSTRA continues to grow as a business in Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a Proposal Engineer to manage EOI/PQQ/Bid processes from start to finish in accordance with the Bid Management Procedure for SYSTRA KSA. Based in the Riyadh office, the Proposal Engineer shall contribute to the delivery of high‑quality proposals with the goal to win work.Missions / Main DutiesConduct analysis of requirements based on client EOI/PQQ/RFP documents and knowledge of project/client in collaboration with Business Line DirectorManage preparation of documentation for Go/No Go meeting with Business Line DirectorAdd opportunities to Bview and organise set up of required folders for documentationManage and conduct the proposal Kick‑off Meeting with assistance from Business Line Director, in accordance with SYSTRA guidelines and Bid Management ProcedureDiscuss with Business Line Director and all relevant stakeholders to determine win themesReview, understand and extract requirements for proposal responses based on the RFP and create and manage the proposal responsibility matrix as a live documentCoordinate due diligence process for new clients/sub‑consultants/JV partnersCreate and manage the Bid Schedule and proactively ensure content and deliverables are achieved by the required deadlines by clearly communicating requirements and deadlines to all contributorsConduct and attend check‑in/progress meetings/workshops with bid contributors as/if neededManage bid progress and elevate any issues to Business Line Director for prompt resolutionCoordinate with other members of proposal team and all internal/external bid stakeholders to ensure all proposal deliverables are completed to a high standard and all communication is clear and timelyManage the development of the proposal fee schedule(s) in line with internal and client requirements, in collaboration with BLP/ITS and/or local and international teams, for review by Finance Director and Business Line DirectorCoordinate and interface with JV partner/sub‑consultant bid team/other SYSTRA offices for comprehensive proposal inputs in line with RFP requirementsCoordinate requirements with Graphic Designers for proposal layout/diagrams, etc.Manage meetings and provide documentation for CDOs/CDEs in collaboration with Business Line DirectorManage all internal final bid review processesOversee the proposal graphic elements to ensure alignment with the SYSTRA brandOversee and contribute to the preparation of proposal sections, as neededCritically assess, review and edit proposal content to ensure quality, consistency in format and terminology, prevent omissions, and identify contradictions and inaccuraciesPerform and oversee the final quality check to ensure consistency and compliance with the RFP, prevent omissions, and identify contradictions and inaccuraciesAssist with the maintenance of global and local content management databases to ensure that accurate, up‑to‑date information is readily available for efficient development of proposalsSuccessfully juggle multiple tasks and priorities, marrying short timeframes with high‑quality workProfile / SkillsBachelor’s Degree in engineeringFluent in English with strong written and oral communication, organisational, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Arabic language is an advantageAt least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the same industryAbility to pay close attention to detailStrong team working capabilitiesDemonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related software for desktop publishing, graphics, word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and client presentations is requiredIntermediate to Advanced level skills in Excel are preferredA proactive approach, working effectively in coordinating activities and complex tasks, taking professional responsibility in all mattersConsistent attendance/timekeeping at the office in accordance with official hours of working is requiredA flexible approach to worki
