QA Tester

<p>We are looking to hire a Quality Assurance candidate for a global Islamic charity operating in 30 countries worldwide.<br></p><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Perform manual and automated testing on software applications to identify defects and ensure they meet quality standards.<br></li><li>Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to test software functionality thoroughly and performance.<br></li><li>Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.<br></li><li>Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring that all issues are properly identified, prioritized, and resolved.<br></li><li>Conduct regression testing to verify that defects have been fixed and to prevent regression issues from occurring.<br></li><li>Participate in the review and analysis of software requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.<br></li><li>Communicate test results and quality metrics to project stakeholders, including management, in a clear and concise manner.<br></li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.<br></li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.<br></li><li>Proven experience working as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.<br></li><li>Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.<br></li><li>Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.<br></li><li>Proficiency in using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.<br></li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.<br></li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.<br></li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br></li><li>ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.<br></li><li>A dynamic and collaborative work environment.<br></li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development.<br></li><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.<br></li><li>Regular exposure to senior leadership.<br></li><li>The chance to work on exciting and innovative projects within a rapidly growing business.<br></li></ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
