OverviewVacancy Title: QHSE EngineerVacancy Location: FujairahEngagement Type: Permanent, Full TimeThe Role:Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a QHSE Engineer to join our team based in Fujairah.Key responsibilities for the QHSE Engineer role include but are not limited to:Conduct internal audits across branches and operational locations to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and company QHSE requirementsCoordinate and support external audits, including certification, surveillance and customer audits, ensuring timely closure of findingsMaintain all QHSE documentation and records to ensure readiness for ISO, regulatory and Class audits at all timesAdminister and maintain the incident reporting system (Q-Pulse), including reporting, investigation tracking, corrective actions and closure of incidentsPlan, organize and document emergency response activities, including safety and fire drillsPrepare for and participate in Z/17 and other regulatory or classification audits as applicableConduct regular QHSE inspections, including weekly and monthly safety walks, and ensure corrective actions are implementedPrepare and communicate safety alerts, awareness materials and lessons learned to employeesOrganize and deliver toolbox talks and ensure proper documentation and filing of recordsMaintain compliance records for PPE, medical supplies and first aid kits, ensuring validity and availability at all timesSupport continuous improvement of QHSE processes across all operational sitesSubmit monthly / quarterly QHSE report to managementDelivers audit assignments for nominated business or customer areas. Develops individual audit plans and detailed scope; delivers the fieldwork required to gather and report findings and opinions; agrees on corrective actions with auditees, and refers serious or contentious issues to the lead auditorWorks within established global and Survitec QHSE framework, policy and processes established regulatory and governance systems and protocols, as well as external regulation and guidelinesInvestigates standard incidents using current and appropriate processes, systems and procedures, taking action to solve immediate compliance issues. Advises more senior colleagues on complex problemsCarries out a range of complex activities to generate evidence to validate existing and new quality assurance test methods and proceduresCarries out a range of quality management activities under the guidance of senior colleagues to contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the Quality Management System. Works as part of a wider QHSE team to design, develop and document new policies, procedures and business processesResolves queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policyOrganises and prepares complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Gathers and summarises key data for special reportsDesigns own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assigns work to others to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get doneCreates an environment where everyone in the team can live the Survitec ValuesCreates an inclusive environment where our people feel valued, appreciated and free to be who they are at workUnderstands, upholds and contributes to creating a safety-first culture within Survitec. Maintains an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education and reading specialist mediaOther duties assigned by your manager from time to timeAbout YouEssential criteria:Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Occupational Health & Safety / Environmental Science or related disciplineProfessional certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH IGC or equivalent) — MandatoryLead Auditor certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 — PreferredAdditional certifications in Risk Assessment, Fire Safety, or Incident Investigation — AdvantageousExperience:Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a QHSE role within an industrial / marine / engineering / manufacturing / construction environmentProven experience working within ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified management systemsHands-on experience in planning, conducting and supporting Internal and External AuditsStrong experience in maintaining QHSE documentation for ISO surveillance and certification auditsDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.Why You Should Work for UsCompetitiv
