Job Description
The QHSES Assurance Specialist applies conceptual QHSES Assurance knowledge with moderate guidance from colleagues and leadership. They solve a range of straightforward QHSES Assurance problems, analyze possible solutions using standard procedures, and build knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by leveraging technical experience, judgment, and precedents. They are responsible for Quality Assurance activities for electrical and instrumentation packages.ResponsibilitiesPerform audits as per plan monthly & report timely results/reportsUpdate established procedures & assist in preparing new procedures on a timely basisAssist in developing statistical tools and analysis to monitor KPls/Qls & other measurementsMaintain and publish agreed KPI, QI, and COQ of key functions of the fabrication yard and projects & management report on a monthly and quarterly basis in soft and hard copiesPrepare and review procedures and work instructionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to review audit results and findings as needed to ensure effective root cause analysis of processing problems or challengesFacilitate and lead project teams of specialists, process owners, or other staff as necessary to ensure the completion of process improvement implementationUse an analytical and logical approach to troubleshoot deficiencies and resolve issues through the effective use of basic problem‑solving techniques, Lean tools and principles, coaching and communication with process owners, and corrective actionsDefine best practices and facilitate a culture of process discipline and standardizationCoach and mentor process owners as needed to ensure their understanding and effective use of trend analysis and data‑driven decision‑makingProvide process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and proposing quality improvementsEnsure sustainability of process improvements and corrective actions through 30/60/90‑day verification audits before corrective action final closureCollaborate with applicable functional leadership to monitor and measure/validate (new/adjusted) process outputs as neededAssist in maintaining New Management Systems by facilitating reviews and revising policies/proceduresPresent New Management System results to various site/business leadership team members as neededRepresent the Quality department on special projects as assignedPerform quality assurance review of all management system documents within specified review cycle periods and by governance proceduresExpedite documents throughout review cycles and publish upon final approvalCoordinate the repository for all documents being transmitted by functional users for reviewQC system attributes for the documents to ensure quality reporting from the systemPerform all void, supersedes, and deletions of documents in the EDMSAdminister EDMS training to new team members as well as assign user rights once training is completedParticipate in the design, implementation, and enforcement of company document templates for the development or revision of all documentsInterface with functional team members and advise on best practices for the creation of documents and organization within the EDMS management systemReport MS updates of activity bi‑weekly and monthly to the company intranetFormat integration documents, circulate for approval, and integrate into both management systems for incorporation, companywideQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering preferred, or relevant field of study5+ years relative industry experience related to EPC construction or fabricationMust possess excellent analytical and problem‑solving skillsDemonstrate attention to detailMust be computer literate and efficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other everyday business operating system environmentsAble to synthesize complex or diverse information, complex data, specifications, and other technical documentation. Use intuition and experience to complement data. Design workflows and proceduresPossesses the ability to generate creative solutionsTranslate concepts and information into simplified written and visual instruction or training material. Uses stakeholder feedback to modify and improve solutionsStrong ability to communicate at all levels within the organization and the ability to summarize and explain complex technical situationsCompetent in dealing with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may existPossesses a strong understanding of Lean/Continuous Improvement concepts, principles, and practicePossess ISO Auditor 9001, 14001, 45001, other globally recognized Quality Management Systems, Internal Auditor trainingAbility to work as a team member as well as act as a team leaderBroad experience with various Management Systems and softwareExcellent communication skills, bot
